Welcome to the Telfair Alternative Preparation School (TAPS). The Telfair Alternative Preparation School is dedicated to the development of every student. We believe that all students have the right to know and understand their strengths and limitations so that they may develop successful life goals and help turn their potentials into realities. The staff believes that educated citizens are essential in a democratic society and has concluded that there is a need for an alternative approach to the traditional educational programs. We also believe that specific life skills such as kindness, praise, cooperation, and respect for oneself and others are best taught by example.
